My name is Ayanda Tlhong

I am a very calm and optimistic individual who believes in the spirit of kindness and Ubuntu. I enjoy experiencing and learning new things everyday, as well as putting a smile on other people’s faces.

I think what makes me different is my constant optimistic view in life. Regardless of any bad or stressful situation I find myself in I always manage to remain positive. This has always enabled me to quickly move past bad experiences and to always try again rather than give up.

I strongly believe that being Miss Soweto 2022 will enable me to remind the youth of not only soweto but the whole of South Africa that it’s about time we take it upon ourselves and become the great leaders who prioritise implementation to ensure growth in our communities.
