Miss Soweto 2022

The Miss Soweto pageant is a celebration of beauty, grace, determination and confidence and has helped to build successful careers of many household names, such as renowned, Basetsana Kumalo (Miss Soweto 1990), Augustine Masilela (Miss Soweto 1987), Lerato Kganyago (Miss Soweto 2002) and many more into local and international stardom. Out of thousands of entries, only 20 top contestants made it to the stage of the Soweto Theatre to compete for the titles of Miss Soweto, First Princess, Second Princess, Miss Social Butterfly and Miss Congeniality.

Ultimately, Tsakane Sono, from Chiawelo shone the brightest and was crowned #MissSoweto2022.
