My name is Pallisa Kobuoe.  I am a courageous and enthusiastic 22 year old from the historical and ever so vibrant place which is Soweto. One word that would describe me would be Resilience, I believe in withstanding adversity and being able to bounce back from difficult life events.

I am a Human resources management graduate which has taught me valuable skills in terms of effective communication and leadership skills. I also decided to further my studies and I am currently studying towards being a qualified educator.

The Miss Soweto platform has moulded and empowered women to be Pioneers in society. Winning this title will give me an opportunity to empower women in my society to take up space, be unapologetic about what they want in life and to also speak their mind fearlessly.
