BIO
My name is Nthabiseng Bodibe
Growing up I was a top ten student in high school and I was selected by the student body and teachers to be an IDC (prefect) during my matric year, which taught me a lot of leadership skills, communication skills, respect, making new connections and growing my network with positive influences.
From a young age of 7 I would participate in multiple recreational and art activities like dance, writing, poetry and sewing beads for traditional garments and now I currently volunteer in mobilizing participants for sports and art competitions.
I decided to follow my passion for food at capsicum culinary school which comes from a life long observation of how food makes people happy, from a young age I’ve always tried to see how different food combinations can work together to create something entirely different and it is that mind set that sparked my love for fashion and being unique.
I am proud to say that I am now currently part of the founding team for a youth empowerment foundation called the Mercy Phakela Ayashis’amteki foundation, using my Law studies to navigate my duties.
Winning Miss Soweto is a great part of my journey of discovery and growth. It will also provide opportunities and tools I need in order to serve the community, share knowledge on a large platform and be a good influence to other people. In conclusion I know the I have the prestige and value of winning this title and I would represent the crown well for the duration of the reign and many years to come.
