My name is Gomolemo Sedumedi

I am a young ambitious 22-year-old woman who firmly believes in the pursuit of her dreams.

I currently work as a people coordinator in Employee Culture, Engagement and experience. I am passionate about philanthropy, women empowerment, entrepreneurship, and social issues such as Rape and Consent. I enjoy spending time in nature and embarking on adventurous activities that challenge me to overcome my fears and build my strength.

I believe I should be crowned the next Miss Soweto because of what I stand to achieve with the title. My aim is not only to spark conversations around areas of consent, rape and sexual abuse but to derive practical solutions of how we can mitigate these issues and deploy young leaders who are committed to making this change so we can have a nation that our fellow young sisters feel safe in and are proud to call home.
