My name Nomthandazo Madonsela, a 23 year old

Fashion Model. Accounting student.

What makes me different  is my story, my experience with mental illness and the resilience I got from it.

I believe I should win Miss Soweto, because I am a confident young woman working towards empowering herself through education, and working on my mental health using tools given to me by a qualified psychiatrist without holding any shame of being considered crazy for going to therapy by my mate or mental ill health unaware people.

As Miss Soweto I will inspire young black women from the townships like me that success in the form of being educated and being mentally healthy is on their reach.
